ParticipantYour voice is almost musical! 🙂 Good pace, good pitch. One minor thing… On the grammarly script the word ‘meet’ disappears… You seem to rush through that. Beyond that, I would not change a thing.

ParticipantThis is a good audio, good pace, relatively upbeat. You have just a bit of mouth noise but that can be reduced. Check out Waves plugins. Particularly, the Waves NS (noise suppression) and the Waves DeEsser.

ParticipantHi everyone! I am practicing for a commercial demo. Looking for feedback to this Nutro dog food ad. For starters, here are some questions I have:
Does my read sound conversational?
How is my diction?
Working on my pace – how is it?
Am I reading my copy with a good flow or do I sound choppy?
How is my audio?
Thank you in advance!Attachments:

ParticipantHi Gwen!
Your voice is very calming. I like it! Your pace and diction are good, you had a pause in there between full and active lives. A tad more inflection to sound even more believable. Audio sounds good!
Overall good job. Keep it up!-

ParticipantI think you have a nice pace! Sometimes you’re emphasizing certain words a bit hard, maybe try a “shrug it off” take to bring in a little more converstaional-ness to it, but good job!

Am I reading my copy with a good flow or do I sound choppy?
How is my audio?

ParticipantGwen. you have a very smooth tone and quite soothing to listen to. Lovely. It’s a bit controlled, and could be messier and a pacing could have more variety. Overall, you have a strong vocal presence that draws you in.

ParticipantThis feels really conversational, in the best way! I feel like you are really painting the picture of what the commercial would look like. And I think pacing and tone were appropriate as well.

ParticipantI really like this one too, your tone is much deeper and the general mood is much more serious. Your pitch is good and I think matches what this sort of spot would call for. Only thing is that towards the end with the call to action it feels a little rushed and like we’re missing a word there. But great job!

ParticipantI agree with hsturgis. Your tone and pitch are spot on. I really think this type of read is in your wheelhouse. Would love to hear it with the audio cleaned up a bit. I’d really love to your interpretatiin of my Olympia motors piece. It’d be a perfect fit.

ParticipantHi everyone! I don’t have an at home studio but would love any and all constructive feedback on these two spots I’ve been practicing– mainly about my tone, diction and pacing! They are fairly contrasting. Thanks!

ParticipantSturgis – very nice work, zero pretense to your voice. Super natural. Feels like I’m listening to you. Only note, is you tend to lose a little air and voicing at ends of sentences and the line gets swallowed a tad. Very strong. Appreciated your feedback as well
